River Crossing YMCA is looking to hire an Assistant Adapted Program Instructor.

Assistant Adapted Program Instructor Salary : $35,000-$40,000 a year

Assistant Adapted Program Instructor Hours : Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm (Full Time)

Assistant Adapted Program Instructor Responsibilities :

• Supervise and engage participants through planned daily activities.
• Assisting the lead instructor in monitoring the day to day functions of the Life After 21 program Adapting program activities and providing support to meet participant's needs.
• Develop positive relationships with participants, families, and staff through communication and actions.
• Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance.

Assistant Adapted Program Instructor Qualifications :

• 21 years or older
• High school diploma required.
• Degree completed or in progress in a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health concerns in a recreational or educational setting
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies preferred
