Job Description
SS+K is seeking an Associate Creative Director will primarily work as a team with a dedicated Associate Creative Director/Copywriter partner. And will be responsible for all aspects of creative development on integrated brand campaigns and projects large and small. A highly conceptual thinker who can develop media agnostic big ideas and bring them to life through every stage of production. Will act as an integral part of the creative team for existing clients as well as new business. Open to hiring an individual or as a creative team with an Associate Creative Direct/ Copywriter.
What you'll do: - Highly conceptual thinker with strong design craft and hard skills
- Autonomously own a large projects and campaigns from kickoff to completion, often balancing multiple projects at once
- Provide art direction on visual design for integrated brand campaigns and projects of various scales and types - from film, social, digital, to interactive experiences
- Ensure integrity and quality of visual direction throughout all phases of a given project and esp. when translated to linear media, interactive media, and physical environments
- Creative and strategic thinker who can see how creativity can solve business problems
- Foster strong client relationships and support junior teams presentations
- Presents to client in clear, passionate and dynamic way, championing the work, the Agency and vision
- Nurture junior talent through clear direction, constructive feedback and passing on
knowledge and expertise - Oversee the evolution of the work and provide senior thought leadership with a mature perspective
- Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties in a professional manner maintaining effective communication, both written and spokenUnderstanding the client's needs with the ability to develop, present and sell creative concepts to clients
- Ensures that the client work is both on strategy and creatively superior and distinctive
What you'll bring: - 6-10+ years in an agency environment preferred, in client-facing roles
- Robust experience with the integrated campaigns, from strategic development
through creative development and delivery - Strong design skills
- Production experience across all platforms - film, digital, social, and printed
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite and able to be a hands-on creative delivering
comps, layouts, and assets across all media types as well as give direction to studio
designers where applicable - Travel may be required
