About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Head of School to join its dedicated faculty. This senior leadership role is focused on school leadership, program, and faculty development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School to fulfill the institution's mission, community commitments, equity, and inclusion action plan, and strategic vision. Responsibilities include managing daily school life, advising on matters related to vision, curriculum, and personnel, and serving on various committees. The role also involves overseeing academic program development, ensuring the integrity and alignment of the curriculum, and supervising the school-wide teams for counseling, health & wellness, college counseling, ed. tech, and equity and inclusion. Applicants for the Associate Head of School position at the company should have a minimum of a master’s degree, at least 5 years of successful senior administrative experience in education, and a strong background in teaching. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in school leadership, curriculum development, and program management, with expertise in areas such as 21st-century skills, experiential learning, ed-tech, and equity and inclusion. The role requires a strategic, forward-thinking, and innovative leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Associate Head will also be responsible for faculty professional development, so significant supervisory and mentoring experience is essential.
