About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Provost for Research and Sponsored Programs to lead and advance its research initiatives. The successful candidate will be the Chief Research Officer, responsible for ensuring compliance with grant and contract regulations, managing all aspects of research compliance, and overseeing the development of a culture of research and innovation. Key duties include providing leadership in sponsored research, maintaining and expanding research opportunities for faculty, and managing the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The role also involves strategic planning, developing initiatives, and supporting the preparation of large institutional grant proposals. Applicants for the Associate Provost position at the company should hold a doctoral degree in a related field and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in research, administrative, and/or faculty roles. Specific experience in grant and contract preparation and research administration is highly desirable. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of federal agencies, experience with research compliance, and a strong understanding of funding opportunities and proposal requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required, as well as the ability to work independently, lead a team, and effectively manage complex tasks. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive research environment.
