Description of the role:

We are seeking a Cadillac Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team at Napleton Cadillac in Oak Lawn Il. As a Journeyman Technician you will be working in a completely remodeled state of the art facility and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. You will work on a variety of Cadillac and General Motors models, ensuring top-quality service for our valued customers.

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Cadillac and General Motors vehicles.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair estimates.
• Perform complex diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements.
• Adhere to dealership and manufacturer service guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• 4 years in dealership experience repairing/maintaining Cadillac and General Motors Ice/electric vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification is a plus.
