**ECHO is hiring for our growing fleet team! We are looking for an experienced CDL driver to drive and load/unload our trucks/trailers!**
**Duties/Responsibilities:**
* This position is responsible for moving ECHO product between our inter-company warehouses, moving large generators and other related equipment via our flatbed trailers, picking up loads of plastic pellets with our vessel trailer and unloading via onboard PTO blower into holding silos on ECHOs campus, and other various local pickups.
* Occasional out of town, overnight routes will be scheduled but not very often.
* Ability to follow daily instructions, work efficiently, and meet daily deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Daily equipment inspections prior to departure and upon return to ECHO at the end of the day.
* Maintain electronic logbook.
* Familiarity with the NW Suburbs, greater Chicagoland area, and Southern Wisconsin directions and truck routes is a plus.
* Must be able to efficiently follow GPS directions when needed.
**Job Experience/Skills:**
* CDL class A active license with current medical card and state approved physical required.
* 7+ years of CDL class A driving experience with a clean driving record.
* Must be able to operate 10-speed manual transmission semi-tractor.
* Operate auxiliary PTO equipment such as blowers, hydraulic trailers, etc. is a plus.
* Secure/strapping custom loads to flatbed trailer is a plus. Must be able to learn quickly if no experience.
* Side loading/unloading onto flatbed trailer via large forklift or front-end loader is a plus. Must be willing and able to learn if no experience.
* Ability to back-in 53 dry-van trailers into tight locations/loading docks is a plus. Must be able to learn quickly if no experience.
* Must be able to operate indoor propane/electric sit-down and/or stand-up style forklifts is a plus. Must be willing and able to learn if no experience.
* Additional experience in operating heavy equipment such as skid steer, plow equipment, mini excavator, etc. is a plus.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Bilingual Spanish a plus!
* Must be able to work over 40 hours and occasionally on weekends.
**Travel**: Must be able to travel on local overnight stays when needed.
