Job Description

As a Research Chemist , you will help develop new products and technologies in the area of Electrocoat and Pretreatment technologies across multiple business segments at PPG's Coatings Innovation Center located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Help implement projects in the Protective Coatings segment by conducting hands-on experimental work related to the formulation and testing of new technologies.
• Analyze experimental results to contribute to the technical path forward for projects
• Create practical new ideas for solving technical problems.
• Maintain results with the project team through written and verbal summaries.
• Work safely in the lab, with strict adherence to all safety processes.

Qualifications

• BS in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related technical field
• 0+ years of related experience
• Observation of experimental details and external factors
