About Our Client Design/Build Commercial General Contractor, based in based in VT, is looking for a Project Executive to join their team!
PX will be responsible for: Project planning, budget management, schedule management, resource allocation, quality assurance, risk management, stakeholder communication, continuous improvement

*Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application* Job Description Construction Project Executive - General Contractor - Responsibilities: - Developing comprehensive project plans outlining project objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals
- Developing project budgets and forecasts, monitoring project costs, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible
- Ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing project schedules and timelines, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing strategies to keep the project on schedule
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Allocating resources effectively to support project requirements
- Managing staffing needs, equipment procurement, and subcontractor selection
- Optimizing resource utilization to maximize project efficiency
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly
- Identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes Proactively addressing safety concerns and regulatory compliance issues
- Ensuring that proper insurance coverage is in place for the project
- Maintaining regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies
- Providing updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues or concerns that may arise
- Providing leadership and direction to project teams, including project managers, engineers, and support staff
- Fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Ensuring that contractual obligations are met, and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the project
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation in project management practices
- Implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

The Successful Applicant Construction Project Executive - General Contractor - Successful Candidate: - 10-15+ years of experience
- Proven experience within the commercial construction industry, working for a General Contractor
- Looking for someone in a Senior Project Manager role ready to take on the next step, or someone currently in a Project Executive role looking for a new challenge
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related preferred
- Leadership experienced required! Looking for an individual who has a proven track record of managing other project managers
- Proven track record of developing others
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Must be commutable or willing to relocate to Burlington, Vermont
