With a growing network of corporate stores, we aim to ensure our financial operations support our expansion and maintain our high standards of quality. We are currently seeking a Corporate Accountant who will focus on managing the financials for our corporate stores .

Position Summary:

The Corporate Accountant will be instrumental in handling all financial aspects of Ume Tea's corporate locations. This role includes preparing and filing sales tax, maintaining accurate financial records, filing annual tax return, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles and a keen eye for detail to support the financial health and regulatory compliance of our corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file sales tax and annual tax return for Ume Tea corporate locations, adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain precise financial records and general ledgers for corporate stores.
• Conduct comprehensive financial audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with CFO to refine accounting processes and enhance financial reporting.
• Offer financial analyses to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Stay informed on changes in tax legislation that could affect the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience, ideally within a retail or corporate store environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sales tax laws and filing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
