About Us:

Trip Savers is a trusted courier service based in Colorado Springs with more than 40 years in the business. We provide same-day, next-day, any-day and every-day pickup and delivery services. We pickup and deliver documents and small packages and provide services to a variety of industries, B2B and B2C.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional driver to manage a key route between Colorado Springs and Denver. This position involves operating a Monday-Friday delivery route from Colorado Springs to Denver and back, with infrequent and occasional stops in Ft. Collins and Boulder. The route departs our Colorado Springs office around 11:30 AM and returns by approximately 5:00 PM. You will handle up to six stops along the route, with additional pay for stops beyond six. The round-trip mileage for the route is approximately 150-180 miles per day.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate your own vehicle to transport packages between designated locations.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to the daily schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at each stop.
• Accurately document deliveries and any additional stops made.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch for updates or route adjustments.
• Receive and respond to messages in an expedited, timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of handling daily trips from Colorado Springs to Denver and back.
• Patient, adaptable, flexible.
• Technologically competent and literate: must be ready, willing and able to perform duties and respond to messages via apps.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Ready, willing and able to go above and beyond to find people to ensure delivery.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry packages (weight may vary).
• Must positively and professionally interact with customers.
• Previous courier or delivery experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Must have an LLC with EIN.
• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of handling daily trips to Denver and back.
• Proof of current and valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Must be able and willing to add Trip Savers as additionally insured.
• Willing to have a background check performed.
• Clean driving record.
• Clean background check.
• Smart phone capable of using apps required by the company.

Compensation:

• Competitive 1099 contract driver pay for the base route with additional compensation for stops beyond six.
• Opportunity for additional per-delivery stops in the COS area from 5 PM until complete
• IRS mileage deduction for 2025: $.70/mile
