Description For our in-house creative agency, Devour, the Jamba Creative Director is embedded into the brand’s business as a creative thought leader using creativity to solve business problems. A Devour CD is a player-coach creating and leading world-class work. You’ll be the point person for brand stewardship across paid, earned, and owned channels. You’ll partner with others to write creative strategies and concept, art direct, write, and design executions across all modern consumer touchpoints. You’ll play a leadership role in the development of Full-funnel Marketing Campaigns that include Paid Media (video, digital, OOH, etc.), Point-of-Sale, Web & App, Loyalty, and CRM. You’ll collaborate with Brand, PR, Organic Social, Digital, Customer Engagement, and Content Creation teams to create cross-functional brand activations. You’ll help steer the ship of our in-house creative team seeking to do better work more efficiently than an outside agency could do. You’ll have a creative team, budgets, vendors, and other resources to manage. You’ll be responsible for delivering on quality & performance expectations, timelines of projects & deliverables, and driving business results. Ultimately, you’ll help achieve Devour’s creative vision: World-class creative that powers business results. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Design, Advertising, Public Relations, or other related field of study (Preferred) Work Experience 7-10 years of experience in creative marketing (Required) 2-4 years of experience in marketing leadership (Required) Exceptional portfolio that showcases solid conceptual, color, and layout skills; superior typographical skills, video production, photography, and digital space experience (Required) Retail, restaurant, food, or beverage experience (Preferred) Skills and Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Ability to seek out and stay ahead of design trends Ability to conceive ideas that work across different platforms in unexpected ways Ability to bring in new sources of creative inspiration to the work and creative team Ability to drive conversation and engagement across social channels Ability to think strategically, conceptualize creatively, and see the concept through to polished design Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, stakeholders, and other departments Ability to work well under pressure in meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, concise language; to demonstrate active listening while engaging others; and to establish, implement, and clearly communicate strategies that align with business needs and objectives to gain buy-in from stakeholders Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g., internal and external customers) in a timely manner Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies Ability to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve challenges/issues, while considering the best interests of all parties; to develop and implement short and long-term solutions; and to apply effective problem-solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues Ability to mentor, motivate, and guide staff toward achieving goals; to drive accountability, provide ongoing, thoughtful, constructive feedback effectively; and to recognize a job well done Ability to travel overnight 10% annually #J-18808-Ljbffr Focus Brands
