We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Consulting Data Center Cabling Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical wizard with a passion for delivering top-notch services and solutions. This position will play a crucial role in our company, ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers by providing consulting services on cabling and other related issues. You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about technology and committed to excellence. Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement data center infrastructure including fiber optic and copper cabling, racks, and server configurations.
2. Consult with clients to determine their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabling and other data center infrastructure.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
5. Maintain detailed documentation of data center infrastructure and any changes made.
6. Conduct regular inspections and audits of data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
7. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of data center cabling and incorporate them into your work as appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data center environment with a focus on cabling and infrastructure.
2. Proven experience with fiber optic and copper cabling, rack and stack, and server configuration.
3. Strong knowledge of data center best practices and industry standards.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
