Job Description

Insight Global is seeking talented and motivated Data Center Technicians to work a 6 month project onsite for one of our largest technology clients. This person will be supporting a project to build new network gateways at their data center. This person will be responsible for Receiving, unpacking, assembling, and staging new equipment; troubleshooting or new cable installation; Physical Device installationPlace new hardware, label cables, port cables, update ticketing, and power on device, as well as Link validationTroubleshooting repairing all links associated with a specific chassis

This will be a night shift position for the first 6 weeks and then move to M-F core business hours. Any night shift hours will be paid at a 10% higher differential pay.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of IT Hardware Experience

Cat 5, cat 6, fiber optic cabling

Previous Experience working in a Data Center
