Responsibilities:
Work from the comfort of your home using your personal computer.
Transfer data from paper documents using computers, recorders, or scanners.
Enter information into databases, records, and files with precision.
Handle numerical data and create organized spreadsheets.
Curate data from verbal recordings or interviews.
Update databases with new information as it becomes available.
Correct and modify inaccurate files and records.
Comply with security protocols to ensure data is saved and stored properly.
Summarize data for standardized reports.
Verify and protect confidential customer/client information.
Organize paper formats and backup materials as needed.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficient in generating process documentation.
Collaborative team player who supports colleagues to achieve team goals.
Fast and accurate typing skills.
Confident and clear communicator for voice recording tasks.
Understanding of data confidentiality principles.
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in data entry or a related field is a plus.
Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
Self-directed and capable of working independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with touch typing is preferred.
