At Pauley Construction, as a Drafter/Designer, youll be responsible for responding to design/documentation demands and meeting response time and output goals.

What youll do as a Drafter/Designer

• You will assist with the execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term drafting strategy
• You will participate on project teams and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
• You will adhere to administrative guidance on project execution
• You will identify and course correct project issues and risks, participate in response plans to resolve
• You will understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.

What youll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
• Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
• May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed.

Additional qualifications (if applicable)

• 1 or more years of progressive experience in drafting - proficiency in Auto CAD
• Experience with the principles and practices of fiber specific projects, network deployments and related fields.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Advanced training in the field

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low.
• Occasionally: Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds in a shift with assistance.

Pay Range: The Drafter/Designer pay range is $24.00 to $30.00 / per hour, depending on experience.
