Early Intervention Group Coordinator - Full Time Schedule Monday-Friday Pay $52,000.00 per year (This is an hourly position/ Based on a 40 hour week) Are you looking to make a difference in a child's life? The Early Intervention program of People, Incorporated is looking for a full-time Group Coordinator. This position will provide oversight of all functions of Early Intervention groups as well as supervision of assigned staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Develop procedures to oversee all aspects of group functions within the Early Intervention (EI) program.
- Responsible for ensuring that all children are enrolled in groups within appropriate timelines to meet the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) Guidelines.
- Create and maintain developmentally appropriate play spaces to support program goals.
- Order group supplies as needed within budgetary guidelines.
- Monitor all groups to ensure that activities are appropriate and curriculum-based.
- Schedule and oversee all group meetings to plan curriculum and discuss any necessary changes/improvements.
- Supervise all Teacher Assistants and assist with hiring of future Teacher Assistants
- Collaborate with the EI Healthcare Coordinator to ensure that all children with special healthcare needs have individual plans in place and are being monitored.
- Collaborate with the Transportation Division to ensure all group transportation needs are scheduled and being met.
- Coordinate use of EI group space with community partners and other programs within People Incorporated.
- Provide direct Early Intervention services for assigned cases.
- Maintain assigned productivity level on a monthly basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, division management team member, or division director, including, but not limited to, working weekends and/or holidays.
- Participate in all staff meetings and required training sessions, including in-service training, as scheduled.
- Maintain all program and Agency required trainings.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge obtained through attainment of a bachelor's degree in related field required
- Knowledge and skill obtained through attainment of a Certified Early Intervention Specialist (CEIS) certification
- Knowledge and skill obtained through a minimum of three years of Early Intervention experience
- Skill in communicating and working with others
- Ability to maintain productivity
- Ability to participate in program planning and implementation cooperatively with the Program Director, Assistant Director, and Program Supervisors in a positive and solution orientated manner
- A qualifying criminal background check, approved driving record, and a valid driver's license required
- Ability to provide current copy of all required health records
