What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the charge in maximizing plant productivity by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Installing and maintaining a wide array of electrical components - from motors to circuit breakers and transformers, ensuring the plant stays lit and powered.
• Safeguarding seamless operations through regular maintenance of control systems and components, including pneumatic devices and transmitters.
• Diagnosing and solving issues with PLC/DCS control systems and other vital interface points, ensuring efficiency.
• Rolling out a robust preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical and instrumentation gear to preempt issues.
• Joining forces with our team to tackle operational, manufacturing, and maintenance challenges, cutting costs and dodging operational hurdles.
• Crafting, wiring, and pinpointing solutions in control circuits for automation equipment, boosting our technological edge.
• Performing root cause analyses on equipment failures and implementing effective corrective measures to maintain operational excellence.
• Adhering strictly to environmental, health, and safety standards, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.
• Conducting high voltage operations with the utmost adherence to safety protocols, keeping the team and equipment safe.
• Conducting comprehensive inspections and tests on all plant systems and equipment to perpetuate peak performance.
• Staying current with new practices, policy shifts, and safety regulations through regular training and meetings.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance prowess, with a focus on multidisciplinary craftsmanship.
• Solid grounding in both electrical and instrumentation maintenance realms.
• High-voltage 3-phase motors troubleshooting skills up to 2300 volts.
  
• Pneumatic control devices troubleshooting acumen.
• Power distribution experience preferred (substations, breakers, motor control centers)
• PLC knowledge preferred
• Highschool diploma or GED, augmented by formal technical training in absence of a journeyman license.
• A journeyman license is highly regarded.

$30 - $40/hour commensurate with experience
