We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Consulting ERP Consultant to join our progressive team in the construction industry. This role is instrumental in implementing, maintaining, and upgrading our ERP systems to streamline our business operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ERP systems and their applications in the construction industry, along with a strong background in general ledger practices. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement, upgrade, and maintain ERP systems to improve operational efficiency.
2. Provide expert advice on ERP system best practices, changes in standards, and industry trends.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system specifications.
4. Configure ERP software modules to align with business processes and requirements.
5. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for end-users.
6. Perform regular system audits to ensure the accuracy of data and compliance with industry standards.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.
8. Work closely with the IT team to ensure system integration, stability, and security.
9. Prepare and present reports on the system's performance and plans for future improvements.
10. Lead and participate in cross-functional team projects as required.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an ERP Consultant, specifically in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in general ledger practices and principles.
4. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, their implementation, and management.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
6. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
9. Strong understanding of the construction industry, including its business processes and operational challenges.
10. Relevant certifications in ERP systems will be an added advantage.
