We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Facilities Manager to join our Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical to our operations and requires a unique blend of skills including HVAC, drywall, drainage, pest control, and parking lot maintenance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing manufacturing facilities and a thorough understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they present.

Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all facility systems, including HVAC, drywall, drainage, pest control, and parking lots.

2. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of facility systems.

3. Managing and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure all facility needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

4. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility maintenance and safety.

5. Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.

6. Developing budgets for facility maintenance and repairs, and ensuring all activities stay within these budgets.

7. Responding to emergency situations or equipment failures promptly and effectively.

8. Collaborating with other department managers to ensure facility operations align with the needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

2. Extensive knowledge of HVAC, drywall, drainage, pest control, and parking lot maintenance.

3. Proven experience in managing contractors and vendors.

4. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility maintenance and safety.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

7. A high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.

8. The ability to work independently and make decisions based on the best interest of the organization.

9. A degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
