This is a FT position w HEAVY TRAVEL-The job is 80% traveling to other states AND out of the country.

My clients build and service the world’s most innovative can Rinsers and Inverters. Since 1992, they have proudly served leading Food & Beverage companies, including Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Boston Beer, Shasta, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Constellation Beverage, Revolution & Founders Brewing. They also work with blue-chip Integrators, including KHS, Krones, Sentry, Arrowhead, Sidel and Hartness.

In this role you use various techniques to install Rinsers and Inverters, while utilizing installation skills which include welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing. This role also includes utilizing CAD drawings to deliver the correct infeed and discharge elevations and equipment placement to ensure that can flow, and production line speeds and efficiencies are met.

Fabrication and installation experience is preferred, ideally within the Food and Beverage Industry with conveyors and/or packaging equipment.

Responsibilities :

  • Work as part of a team on each installation, and take direction from the Team Leader
  • Correct installation of Rinsers, Inverters and optional equipment using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, deburring, bending, punching, tapping, and shearing.
  • Correct installation of infeed and discharge sections to accomplish can flow and can size changeover requirements • Read, interpret and act upon technical CAD drawings
  • Test can flow and calibration settings, and troubleshoot to deliver line speed requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
  • Fabrication and welding experience
  • CAD document reading experience
  • Must have own hand tools (all other tools provided)
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to layout, fabricate & crate stainless steel components
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction and learn from an experienced Installation Team Leader
  • Adaptable to be able to assist the Team Leader in handling the “emergency of the day”
  • Willingness to travel as a two-person team to customer facilities across the United States, Mexico and Canada, as requested.
  • We fly or drive to these destinations depending upon the travel time involved and scheduling of consecutive projects whenever possible.
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Forklift experience or license
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and climb platforms for extended periods
  • Bilingual communication in English & Spanish is a plus
  • Pre-employment (including drug testing) must be successfully completed post offer of employment.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. as well as ability to travel outside the U.S. for work.
