This position is primarily responsible for the Installation of Residential elevators in Ft Myers and surrounding areas. Must have 2 years of Elevator Experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

I understand that in this role, I will be accountable for the following:

Installing home elevators according to documented, 9-Stage Process for Installation.

· Elevators to be installed and inspection ready at completion.

· Complete installation of elevators at or below Ideal Hours.

Elevator installations must be completed with quality.

· Rails and jack must be plumb within 1/8” top to bottom.

· All wiring must be accurate and tidy.

· Cab must be built plumb and square.

The Installation of the elevator must follow all safety guidelines with 0 (Zero) OSHA Recordables.

· All PPE worn throughout installation.

Elevator installation complete and inspection ready.

· No install work for adjuster to complete elevator.

· Clean pit, cartop, and remove any trash from job site.

· Inspection only, to be performed by adjuster.

Servicing and repairing commercial/residential elevators

· Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts

· Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance

· Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.

· Communication on elevator status with on site personnel.

· Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules

· Understanding of wiring diagrams

· Ability to make decisions on your own

Mechanics must be actively involved in or have completed C.E.T. Program.

SKILLS

· Have a general knowledge of power and hand tools

· Able to read a tape measure

· Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules

· Use of safety documents, MSDS

· Able to drive a vehicle and pull a trailer is a plus (if needed)

· Ability to read elevator shop drawings and wiring diagrams

· Must have dependable transportation

· Mechanically inclined and able to learn quickly

· Understand what plumb is. Level and square are.

· Being on time and ready to work
