About Us

United Trades of America is expanding in Greenwood, Indiana. We are seeking a General Contractor Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities

As a General Contractor Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory environment related to project scope.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
• Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
• Budget and Cost Management:
• Develop accurate project budgets and cost estimates.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Client Collaboration:
• Interface with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns promptly.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce quality control measures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Proactively address issues as they arise to maintain project momentum.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in general contracting.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
