Job Description

Grounds custodians are essential in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include lawn care, such as watering, raking, and seeding, as well as planting, trimming, weeding, and mulching various landscape elements. Additional duties involve installing and maintaining gardens, fences, gates, retaining walls, outdoor lighting, and water fountains. Job site on the university of Indiana's Campus
Hard Skills

• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and walk for the full duration of the shift
• Experience in outdoor cleaning and maintenance of grounds, landscaping

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Diligence in maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of outdoor areas

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bloomington, Indiana.
Work Environment

This role requires working completely outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions. Candidates should be prepared to work in rain or shine, hot or cold environments, and expect to get dirty depending on the task at hand.
