**About this role**
The trust of our community and quality of our marketplace continues to be a top priority for Faire as we scale. We are looking for a Trust & Safety Lead who is excited to be an early member of our team and help build out a global organization to uphold our marketplace standards and policies. In this role, you will wear multiple hats, ranging from hiring and growing a team of Trust & Safety specialists to scaling proactive quality processes to refining our marketplace policies. You will have the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Legal and Comms to help build the foundations of our Trust & Safety org.
**What youll do**
* Attract, hire, and develop a team of best-in-class Trust & Safety hires
* Guide workforce management efforts and standardization to allow continued growth and stability of the team
* Guide team to define & execute against KPIs for monitoring performance on marketplace and developing marketplace quality program
* Identify trends and continuously implement process and workflow improvements, including working with external vendors
* Develop expertise in how Faires processes and systems work, and how to use them to promote positive outcomes
* Develop clear feedback mechanisms between cross-functional partners, including Product and Data Science to ensure we are building scalable solutions
* Work cross-functionally with Legal and Comms to ensure that our policies are reflective of our company values and evolving business needs
**Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree and 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years of people management experience
* Direct experience in Trust and Safety or related field, ideally for a marketplace business and/or high growth company
* Experience leading and driving cross-functional initiatives with varied stakeholders across Product, Data Science, Legal & Comms
* Experience working with global counterparts to deliver on org-and-company level goals
* You are detailed-oriented and can help us define and maintain a high-quality bar on Faire
* You are data-driven, capable of setting metrics and monitoring progress against team objectives
* You are a team player and are resilient in the face of challenges, ambiguity, change
* You are empathetic and have the ability to take initiative in doing the right thing for the customer
