Description Position Summary: Assist the Human Resource Office with all employee related tasks.
Representative Responsibilities: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.
The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary.
Primary duties: - Assist the HR Director with all administrative work in the HR office
- Keep all personnel files current and update the HRIS (Paycom) as needed
- Assist coordinators with Recruiting, Onboarding, and Payroll as needed
- Assist with recruitment and interview process, including reference and social media checks
- Prepare and send offer letters and new hire paperwork.
- Maintain I-9 documentation for employees
- Assist with HR audits and reporting requirements.
- Conduct new employee orientations for faculty and staff
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Director
Knowledge and Competencies: - Overall knowledge of HR functions
- Quick learner and attention to detail
- Should have great planning and organizing skills
- Quality control the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Dependability the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions and responds to management direction
- Able to maintain high level of confidentiality
Experience, Education, and Certification: - 1-3 year(s) experience as HR Assistant
- Certification or Associates degree or perusing education in HR field
