Job Description
The entry-level HR Coordinator role will assist in the facilitation of Human Resources processes. This role will provide administrative support to the human resources function, including record-keeping, HRIS entry, hiring, benefits, training, onboarding, licensing, employee relations and employee engagement. This role will be responsible for uniform distribution and management.

Responsible for uniform distribution and management for all employees
Create and post job advertisements.
Assist with the planning and execution of team member engagement initiatives, including anniversary, birthday, and promotional announcements.
Assist HR Business Partners with coordinating meetings as needed for recruitment, retention, and team member relations.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining appropriate levels of office supplies.
Provide support to team member uniform distribution and inventory.
Provide administrative/clerical support (filing, scheduling, scanning, etc.) for the HR department.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and the development and facilitation of new hire orientation.
Assist with benefit enrollment and UKG property support.
Responsible for sending and reporting exit survey data.
Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database as requested/needed.
Participate in developing department goals and objectives.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Understanding of employment laws and regulations
Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and be customer focused.
Experience using technology for HR and/or recruiting systems.
Experience in HR policies and procedures
Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights. Part of an HR rotation, which includes morning and mid shifts and includes a weekend rotation.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field, one to two years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience is preferred.
One (1) year of training facilitation experience preferred.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
