HR / Finance Assistant

• Leading nonprofit charter school seeking an HR & Finance Assistant to join their growing team!
• They serve 600+ students currently & are looking to open a high school in near future.

• Full time, in office position, 8:30 AM -4:00 PM in Long Island City, NY - near many forms of public transportation & street parking

• Audit preparation
• Entering invoices monthly, reviewing payroll, ACA reporting, dealing with vendors
• Assist with HR needs when/if necessary (mostly administrative duties like helping on the recruitment side)
• 80% Finance , 20% HR

Experience Preferred of the HR/ Finance Assistant :

• Flexible and hands on deck mentality
• 1-2 years accounting/ finance experience
• Follows directions and takes accurate notes
• Bilingual- Spanish would be a plus
