Description INTERNAL POSTING ONLY Analyzes and evaluates transcripts from colleges, universities and military course work to identify transferable course credits. Leads and trains lower-level analysts. Manages application processing specific to high school documents and freshmen admission decisions.
- Reviews and makes decisions on course credits from high school, domestic and/or international colleges, universities and military course credits to be transferred to UH.
- Conduct application and decision audits on first time in college applicants.
- Corresponds with officials at other institutions of higher education concerning course credits and content comparability and/or high school coursework.
- Advises students and university staff and faculty about course credit transfers and gaps and first time in college admission criteria.
- Updates evaluation guides and equivalency tables. Research high school core curriculums and updates equivalency tables.
- Prepares articulation guides for Texas community colleges and universities.
- Trains and supervises assigned Transcript Analysts and student workers. Provides input on hiring decisions and performance management.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
