**Liability Claims Adjuster**

As a **liability claims adjuster** in our Commercial Auto Claims organization, youll review third-party auto and property liability claims and analyze associated policy coverage, providing thorough documentation and timely resolution. Youll have the opportunity to manage a caseload from beginning to end, corresponding with claimants, insureds, and investigating parties along the way to determine appropriate action for the resolution of claims.
**Duties and responsibilities**
* Manage an average of 80 cases at a time consisting of third-party commercial auto liability claims while handling new incoming claims
* Interpret policies and analyze information gathered to determine course of action
* Evaluate exposures and maintain accurate reserves on all files
* Keep claims files documented and updated
**Must have qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree or higher or a combined total of 5 years of work experience and/or post-secondary education.
Work or educational experience must include:
* Claims adjuster
* Position that developed or required the ability to think critically, solve problems, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges
* Strong customer service skills
**Preferred skills**
* Minimum of 1 year multi-state auto liability claims handling experience, preferably with commercial lines
* Ability to maintain and obtain all necessary adjuster licenses
* Ensures high quality customer service
* Organizational skills and an ability to multitask to manage case load
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
**Compensation**
* Salary range: $43,800- $54,800
* Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
