We are part of the world-wide Horner Electric Group that was founded in 1949 and have been designing PLCs, Communication Products, HMIs and their related products since the early 80s. Horner Automation Group designs, builds, and markets a wide array of industrial LED lighting and All-in-One controllers, consisting of programmable HMI, I/O, software and peripherals for the Industrial, Process Control, Renewable Energy and Building Automation markets. All products are designed by Horner Engineers and assembled by Horner Employees. With our internal operations and production facility. Horner Automation Group is a fully integrated North American Manufacturing company.

**Summary**

This position will assist and support the efforts of our Horner Lighting Group Sales Team and help grow revenue of our LED lighting product offerings. This position is responsible for promoting the value proposition, products, and services of the Horner Lighting Group and Horner Automation Group. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to assist and support the efforts of our Lighting Group Sales Team and help grow revenue of our LED lighting product offerings.

**Responsibilities**

* Understand Horner Lighting Groups products, services and capabilities.

* Understand industry and competitors products, services and capabilities.

* Follow up on quotes, opportunities, and leads as required.

* Provide support to Outside Sales Managers, Manufacturers Representatives, and Distributors as needed.

* Provide back-up for other Inside Sales and Customer Service personnel.

* Through proficient use of interpersonal skills via phone and email, engage and probe

* to ensure their true needs are determined and provide optimal solutions.

* Respond in a timely and accurate manner to incoming requests for quotes, order entry, and issue resolution

* Provide applications and product selection assistance.

* Create proposals and enter orders.

* Regular outbound contact to follow up on quotes, opportunities, and leads.

* Maintain account relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts and

* long-term relationships at all levels of the organization.

* Demonstrate commitment to Horner Automation Groups workplace environment by leading, acting and behaving in a professional manner.

* Follow all company policies and procedures

**Qualifications**

* Demonstrated ability to understand electrical and mechanical concepts and to successfully communicate them to customers and sales channel partners.

* 2+ years of experience in sales or support of LED technology products in a business-to-business environment.

* Experience using Customer Relationship Management software, Microsoft Office applications, and ERP systems.

* Must be persistent, action-oriented, results-driven and self-motivated.

* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

* Ability to prioritize and multi-task numerous activities but remain immediately available for incoming calls.

* Ability to interact well with all levels of customer functions up to C-level executives.
