REMOTE MEDICAL BILLER POSITION FOR SPECIALTY OFFICE
We’re growing because the need for our services is greater than ever and the care and compassion with which we deliver them is outstanding.
We are looking for a willingness to learn (OSA and TMJ are unique in re: to medical billing) and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be a detail-oriented team player, yet thrive on working independently.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Submit claims, correct denials
Calculating Insurance Co-pays, co-insurance and estimates
Insurance authorizations and pre-determinations, including follow up with denials and appeals
Post insurance and patient payments
Process statements
Unapplied report
Internal tasks within EHR
Assist with incoming billing questions
Process patient refunds, document accordingly
Aging claims
Process payment plans
Obtain GAP exceptions
Hours: Approx 20-30 hrs/week
Pay rate: base plus collection bonus

## Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems
- Experience in medical billing, collections, and office procedures
- Knowledge of medical records management and electronic health records systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
