Summary DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Private Equity Group in our Austin office. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments and other general corporate matters.
Education Bar Admission - Admitted to practice in the state of Texas
Experience - Minimum 3 years of private equity experience.
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment Hybrid with some in-office expectations
