Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a remote opportunity? We're seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher in Maine to support K-12 students through a full-time, 1099 contract role. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work from home while making a meaningful impact by managing IEPs, providing virtual instruction, and collaborating with school teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
Provide individualized virtual instruction to meet each student's unique needs
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
Track and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success

Requirements:

Valid Special Education Teaching License in Maine
Experience in IEP management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Master's degree in Special Education is preferred

Position Details:

Full-time, 1099 Contract position
Immediate start with commitment through the school year
