Job Description

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction for K-12 students with significant needs during the 2024-2025 school year. This fully remote opportunity allows passionate educators to make a meaningful impact by delivering specialized education through an engaging and effective online platform.

Position Overview
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Grade Levels: K-12
Service Model: Direct virtual instruction supported by onsite facilitators who assist with real-time lesson delivery
Technology Provided: Teletherapy platform, clinical support team, and comprehensive toolkit
Qualifications
A valid Oklahoma Special Education Teaching License with certification to work with students requiring high levels of support
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with preference for candidates who have teletherapy experience
Personal liability insurance (required)
A reliable internet connection and an updated computer capable of supporting seamless remote service delivery

Key Responsibilities
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will:

Deliver specialized instruction to students with severe/profound learning needs using an interactive online platform.
Collaborate with onsite facilitators to ensure real-time lesson delivery and support for students.
Work closely with a clinical support team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Utilize a robust set of tools and resources to create an engaging and impactful virtual learning experience.
