Jovie Nannies + Sitters is seeking a fun-loving and energetic nanny to join a dynamic family in Edmond, OK! This is the perfect opportunity for a creative and patient caregiver who loves working with children.

About the Family:

This busy family has two wonderful children, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. They are looking for a part-time nanny to provide after-school care and support during the school year and full-day care during the summer months.

About the Role :

School Year:

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

1. Pick up the children from school.
2. Empty backpacks and lunchboxes.
3. Prepare snacks and meals.
4. Engage in fun activities, such as board games, outdoor play, and arts and crafts.
5. Create a safe and nurturing environment.

Summer:

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and lead engaging activities, such as trips to the park, museums, or libraries.
2. Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
3. Supervise playtime and nap time.
4. Foster a love of learning through educational activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience caring for children ages 3-5
• Energetic, patient, and creative
• 3-5 childcare references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Non-smoker, healthy role-model qualities
• Reliable and responsible
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record and a reliable vehicle
