Job Description The Division of Critical Care Medicine at Nemours Children's Hospital Delaware is seeking a Board-eligible/Board-certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our team at Nemours Children's Hospital-Delaware in Wilmington. This physician will have direct involvement in patient care in our 24-32 bed pediatric ICU, including the management of patients with various medical, surgical, and trauma-related critical illnesses. Duties will include daytime clinical service and in-house nighttime call responsibilities, including overall direction of patient management, procedures, and education of resident, fellow, and other trainees. Physicians are expected to work closely and professionally with nursing and ancillary departments in effort to maintain a teamwork approach to family-centered care.
Academic interests in research, informatics, quality improvement/patient safety, education, or administration/operations that supplement clinical expertise are required to optimize professional contributions locally and to help expand Nemours impact on pediatric critical illness regionally and nationally.

Academic appointment is awarded by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University based on established professorial guidelines.
Qualified candidates will be:
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Delaware
- Have a demonstrable area of academic pursuit in research, informatics, quality/patient safety, medical education, health services, and/or administration/clinical operations to complement clinical expertise
- Available to start on or around Summer 2025 (though exact start date is flexible)
