Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Inspecting and diagnosing plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and system failures.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of plumbing systems and fixtures including sewer systems and pumps.
3. Collaborating with the facilities management team to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
4. Ensuring all plumbing systems comply with local and national plumbing codes.
5. Responding promptly to emergency plumbing issues and implementing effective solutions.
6. Providing accurate estimates for both time and materials required for projects.
7. Regularly communicating with the facilities team and other stakeholders to provide updates on tasks and projects.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional plumber.
2. Proven experience in working with sewer systems, pumps, and detecting and repairing leaks.
3. A valid plumbing license.
4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing efficient and cost-effective solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.
6. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
7. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on understanding and meeting the needs of the business.
8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
9. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to perform strenuous tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
