We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant proficient in Java, Selenium, and API automation to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in leading and delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, as well as conducting functional testing to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications. Responsibilities Lead consulting projects and engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes. Architect, design, and implement robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks. Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints and database interactions, leveraging tools and libraries such as RestAssured and JDBC. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality. Design and implement automated tests using Playwright for web applications. Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the effectiveness of test automation scripts and frameworks. Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation. Experience in Java, Selenium & Playwright. API testing experience. Strong proficiency in Java programming language. Experience with API testing frameworks such as RestAssured, Postman, or SOAPUI. Solid understanding of database concepts and experience in database testing using JDBC or similar libraries. Preferred qualifications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience, including managing projects. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus. The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual offer will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
