Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
Pay range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What’s a typical day as a Print Press Operator? You’ll be:
• Prioritizing incoming orders based on customer needs, workload, media, finishing, bindery, and machine capabilities
• Estimating time and media requirements and informing the production manager and/or client of any requests that can't be met
• Receiving, processing, and modifying client files as needed to print per specifications
• Making suggestions regarding media, substrate, bindery, and other finishing options
• Operating and maintaining printers, scanners, bindery, and/or finishing equipment
• Maintaining inventory of media, substrate, ink, toner, bindery, and/or finishing materials
• QCing printed and finished materials based on our high-quality standard
• Packaging completed projects for Will-Call, Delivery, or Shipping
• Organizing, arranging, and decorating your work area to enhance productivity
• Working overtime when necessary to meet client expectations
• Assisting in other departments as needed
• Assisting customer service by answering phones and taking messages as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
• Have high-level knowledge of Adobe CC, focusing on Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
• Have high-level knowledge of RIP software – Onyx RIP Que & Fiery a Plus
• Have high-level knowledge of Cut software – Colex Experience a Plus
• Have working knowledge of MS Software such as Outlook, Excel, & Word
• Are tech-savvy and able to navigate new (and old) software with limited training
• Have thorough knowledge of materials and equipment utilized in color printing, duplicating, binding, and finishing
• Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs and maneuver prints, media, and substrates carefully
• Have attention to detail and the ability to multi-task while maintaining quality, accuracy & scale
• Have a can-do attitude with a continuing need to self-improve
Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Associates of Arts Degree focusing on Graphic/Production Design and/or 2+ years' equivalent experience in the color reprographics field using design and file/print editing software
