Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and assign work to the fork truck drivers daily
- Inspect the warehouse throughout the shift
- Verify and follow up on shipping documentation
- Supervision of 6-8 direct reports, which include fork truck drivers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but NOT required
- In lieu of a 4 year degree, Red Gold experience and previous leadership/supervision with proven results is required
- Must be willing to attend additional classes related to leadership and supervision
- 2-4 years' experience supervising in a warehouse, distribution center or plant manufacturing environment
- Computer Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel and Word
- Warehouse software package experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS • Sitting- to complete a task at lower levels
• Standing- to complete most all tasks
• Walking
• Climbing- to get to parts department, when using ladder, on equipment
• Reaching- to perform activities, to get tools out of toolbox
• Kneeling- to perform work activities at low levels
• Crawling- to perform work activities under equipment
• Squatting
• Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts, to perform work tasks at lower levels or inside a machine
• Twisting- to perform work activities
• Pinch- to use tools, to manipulate wires
• Grasping/handling- using tools, manipulating parts
- Must be able to drive a golf cart for transportation through the plant
- Must be able to spend long amounts of time on feet

JOB COMPETENCIES Other • Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements.
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
