Job Description Dogwood Autism Services is in search of entry-level and experienced Behavior Technicians to join our team! As a Behavior Technician, you will implement individualized treatment plans to teach communication, social, and school-readiness skills to children ages 1-5 in the clinic, home, community, and preschool settings.

About Us:
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 intervention to children ages 1-5 consistent with best practices in applied behavior analysis across communication, social, and adaptive skills domains.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as designed by supervisor and clinical leadership team.
- Collect data and make data-based decisions with oversight of supervisor.
- Complete and submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Work closely with family members and stakeholders to coordinate care across clinic, home, and community settings.

Requirements Job Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children in 1:1 or classroom/group settings (Required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required), 4-year degree in ABA or related field (Preferred)
- Access to reliable transportation (Required).
- Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (Preferred).
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift and carry clients.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
- Must have a valid State Driver's License & insurance in good standing
