Our Home Care Services team, which will serve residents of Touchmark in the West Hills and will operate out of this beautiful community, is currently seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable person to join us as our **Home Care Registered Nurse**.

As a **Home Care Registered Nurse** on our Home Care team, you will play an active role in helping to ensure that residents receive the support they need and that they move successfully through the continuum of care as needed for their overall safety, care, and life enrichment. You will also have such responsibilities as performing nursing assessments to determine client health status; monitoring medication function, including training and competency assessments; developing curriculum that will provide a pathway for interested or inexperienced caregivers to gain basic caregiving skills; advising management on infection control and other clinical issues; and providing infrequent telephone consultations to on-call managers during off-hours.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have a current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Oregon, plus at least two years experience in a home care, home health, hospice, long-term care, urgent care, or emergency room setting

* Preferably have experience with Alzheimers and age-related dementia, though not required

* Have the ability to teach one-on-one and in small groups, and to give presentations to large groups with confidence

* Have a current Oregon driver license and valid auto insurance

* Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment

* Be proficient with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

* On site Health and Fitness Club which Team Members can join for only $10 per month

* For commuting options, we are steps away from the TriMet bus Line 20-Burnside/Stark which runs 24 hour service and we are minutes away from the Sunset Transit Center.
