**Restaurant Host in Busy Seafood Restaurant**
**Department:** FOH STAFF - FSVC **Location:** New York, NY
Cull & Pistol is currently seeking a host/hostess for our neighborhood staple reopening its doors! We are looking for a responsible, polished, passionate, hospitable professional. The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting, seating, and saying goodbye to guests as well as maintaining the flow of the restaurant dining service.
This position is 4 shifts per week, approximately 28 hours. Weekend and evening availability is a must. Great customers, plus tips!

The Cull & Pistol Oyster Bar is a Michelin-acclaimed seafood restaurant located in the heart of Chelsea Market. Since opening in 2013 we have quickly become a neighborhood staple among our customers, known for delivering exceptional service and a seasonal menu that takes full advantage of the remarkably fresh and varied offerings from of our neighboring seafood market, The Lobster Place.
**Responsibilities:**
* Greeting and seating guests
* Confirm reservations with guest
* Anticipates and accommodates the needs of the guest
* Communicate and support FOH & BOH team throughout service
* Managing wait lists and table turns through Resy
* Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area
* Performs side-work as delegated
**Qualifications:**
* Host experience at a high-volume restaurant
* Ability to effectively communicate with guests as well as describe and answer any questions about Cull & Pistol, food, and beverage selection
* Must have a warm and inviting personality, and display positive and professional demeanor
* Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
* Knowledge of Resy (or similar) software preferred
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Good time management and communication skills
* Evening & Weekend availability is a must
