Job Description

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for a Retail/Digital Marketing Manager for their company based out of South Pittsburg, TN.

This position is fully remote, but some travel required. Minimum 7 years of experience in similar position.

Job Summary: The Manager of Digital & Retail Marketing will have responsibilities for the digital and in-store retail marketing strategies. This role will be instrumental in supporting product launches, managing ongoing digital merchandising initiatives, enhancing brand visibility & growth, fostering strong relationships with retail partners, and implementing real-time optimizations across the entire customer journey, both on owned platforms and partner channels.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of delivering comprehensive solutions leveraging all social media channels, email, print, and digital assets to drive measurable growth in new customer acquisition and sales. This role interacts with our retail customers and must be able to communicate and present in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate KPIs and optimize campaign performance using a data driven approach and proactively communicate campaign success and business results to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, timely, and consistent manner
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, including digital, print, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage marketing plans & calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and adhering to brand standards.
  • Conduct market research, customer surveys, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and improve performance.
  • Launch marketing campaigns and product introductions that adhere to brand strategy and sales goals.

Digital Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the digital strategy across owned web domains, social, and retail partner websites.
  • Buy and optimize paid media campaigns through Retail Media, Google, Social Media, Influencer Media, and other channels for acquiring customers and sales.
  • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.
  • Oversee website updates on a WordPress platform, including content and layout enhancements.
  • Engage with social media audiences by monitoring channels, responding to comments/messages, and fostering community growth.
  • Collaborate with our retail partners for digital campaign planning.
  • Work with Account Manager to ensure that direct and retailer campaigns are aligned and consistent in strategy and messaging.
  • Collaborate with sales/ecommerce team to understand product launch timing and take the lead to initiate launch of new products on available digital ad channels with our retailers.

In-Store Marketing Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the end-to-end implementation of the in-store display process, including creative requests, internal and retail partner design approvals, vendor sourcing and communication, and display production.
  • Collaborate with National Sales Teams to understand display execution performance and work to improve the brand’s presentation in our key accounts.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in Retail Line Reviews, document business processes, keep point of purchase materials up to date, and provide sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights for market & product development strategies and develop in-store and online marketing collateral to increase customer conversions.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing program performance, strategies, and budgets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of Experience with digital advertising, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, email marketing, and social media. Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in paid media planning and buying required.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and integrate marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing technology and infrastructure, demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are met, and goals are achieved.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics with the ability to utilize data for decision-making and presenting performance to leadership and retailer partners.
  • Project management skills required, including proven ability to work with cross-functional project teams, resulting in successful new launches and robust content
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce and digital platforms including Google Analytics.
  • Proven track record in driving online sales and revenue growth.

Travel :

Light travel may be required to visit customer locations or for company on-sites.
