Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join a non-profit organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and optimize the revenue cycle operations to ensure efficient billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement processes. Responsibilities of the Revenue Cycle Manager:

  • Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle efficiency and maximize collections.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue cycle metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing guidelines.
  • Manage and mentor a team of revenue cycle specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, operations, and clinical teams, to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews to maintain accuracy and integrity in billing and coding practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in revenue cycle management.

Qualifications of the Revenue Cycle Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in revenue cycle management within a medical/health organization.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on improving financial performance.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across different levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Salary:

$50,000-$60,000 per year.
