**Description**

The Safety Manager will provide significant leadership to S&S personnel safety development and drive continuing safety culture improvements in order to create and sustain an excellent safety culture. This role is responsible for management and oversight for all organizational safety aspects including liability and workers comp claims for the Branson location.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Provide excellent customer service using a positive approach. Ability to partner with and build trust and confidence with leadership.
* Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
* Partner and collaborate with Safety Manager in Lancaster.
* Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary Make sure mandatory training requirements are consistently met.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Manage and ensure compliance to all internal safety policies and procedures.
* Investigate all accidents, injuries, near-miss incidents and any other occurrences that have the ability to negatively impact operations in partnership with Safety Committee and Human Resources.
* Manage and resolve all workers comp and liability claims.
* All other duties as assigned.
**Prerequisites:**
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to successfully interact with all levels of management and employees. Exhibit great presentation and training skills.
* Workers compensation claim management experience.
* Liability claim management experience.
* Confident self-starter who is proactive and responsive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
**Other Skills and / or Requirements:**
* Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations such as (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA) a plus.
* Knowledge of risk management concepts and Occasional travel will be required.
