At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in the Kansas City metro area/surrounding areas.

Starting Pay: $19.50 / Hour + Company Benefits Availability: - Must be flexible to work different schedules depending on the assignment (schedules can change with each assignment). Hours include days, nights, and overnights. Must be avaible to work overtime hours when needed.
Position Type: - Full-time hours guaranteed each week (benefits included)
About the job (varies based on account):
- Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
- You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
- You provide rapid response in critical situations.
- You’re good at reading and writing detailed reports.
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Vehicle patrols of various client facilities.
- Inside and outside foot patrols of various client accounts.
- Access control responsibilities.
- Badge checking and issuing.
- Inbound and outbound vehicle check-ins.
- CCTV (security camera monitoring).
- Alarm system monitoring.
- Entry control responsibilities.
- On-the-job training provided for various accounts.
- Other security duties as assigned.
Your background:
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
- You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior security or related experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Local security license(s) or ability to obtain and maintain (will help to obtain if necessary based on local municipality requirements).
- Availability to work overtime when needed.
