Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer - Palo Alto Networks Specialist Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis. Implement and manage network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Configure and manage Cisco and Palo Alto network devices, ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborate with other IT team members to support various projects and initiatives. Conduct regular network performance tests and capacity planning. Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and procedures. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience. 3+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN). Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools. Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
