Job Description

We are a VC firm/incubator looking for a social media intern to create content on Instagram and TikTok for our NYC-based communities. This is an asynchronous/remote part-time role of approximately 10 hours per week. Candidates must be resident in NYC for the occasional in-person event. Students welcome!

Rate : $20-$25/hour

Responsibilities :

• Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Capture the essence of our in-person through content - photos, videos, and podcast.
• Collaborate with our team to produce content that engages our community through between and before events.

Community Engagement:

• Build and nurture relationships with our online community.
• Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing user-generated content.

Brand Development:

• Assist in developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social media channels.
• Stay up-to-date with VC industry trends and incorporate relevant trends into our social media strategy.
• Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours with a commitment of 10 hours per week. We value work-life balance and are open to accommodating your academic schedule.
• On occasion, we may ask you to attend an in-person event in the NYC area. These events will take place weekday evenings approximately 1-2x per month.

We believe this internship will provide valuable experience in the VC investment sector, allowing you to develop your social media and community management skills while providing exposure to the influential people and emerging trends in the NYC entrepreneurship ecosystem.
