Job Summary

As a  Social Media Intern , you will assist in managing our social media presence, creating content, and engaging with our growing online community. This internship is a great opportunity for students passionate about social media, marketing, and content creation who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry. You will work closely with our marketing team to learn and contribute to the execution of social media strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Scheduling

  1. Assist in developing creative and engaging social media content (photos, videos, graphics) that aligns with the brand’s voice and mission.
  2. Schedule posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter using scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later).

Social Media Management

  1. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries on social media platforms.
  2. Engage with followers, influencers, and community members to build relationships and grow our online presence.
  3. Research trends, hashtags, and other ways to stay relevant and increase engagement.

Campaign Support

  1. Assist in the execution of social media campaigns, giveaways, product launches, and events.
  2. Help track performance of campaigns, monitor analytics, and report on social media metrics (e.g., engagement, growth, reach).

Research and Ideation

  1. Stay up to date with current social media trends, new tools, and platform updates.
  2. Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for new content, campaigns, and ways to engage the audience.

Influencer and Partnership Collaboration

  1. Assist with identifying and reaching out to influencers, bloggers, and like-minded brands for potential collaborations and partnerships.
  2. Help maintain and manage influencer relationships and track performance of influencer campaigns.

Analytics and Reporting

  1. Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics (followers, likes, engagement rates) to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  2. Provide weekly or monthly reports on growth and engagement, offering insights and suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications

  1. Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  2. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc.).
  3. Passion for social media, content creation, and community building.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Basic understanding of social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Later, etc.) is a plus.
  6. Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Photography or graphic design skills (using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus but not required.
